The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Gruber coming out on top.
Gruber scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Gruber moves into the clinch successfully.
Asteroid is looking to control Gruber's arms but Gruber gets an underhook and turns him. Now Asteroid has his back to the cage.
Asteroid looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Asteroid breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Asteroid moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Asteroid tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gruber was well out of range. Poor timing from Asteroid.
Gruber keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Asteroid.

Hans Gruber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gruber scores with a sloppy right hand. Asteroid should have avoided that one.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gruber lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Asteroid has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Asteroid and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Asteroid drops Gruber with a beautiful combination! Gruber stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Asteroid is looking for the KO!

It looks like Hans Gruber has been cut.

A telegraphed right hand from Gruber misses the target.
Gruber checks a leg kick nicely.

Gruber throws a right hand that Asteroid ducks under and follows up with a left that Asteroid also avoids with ease.
Asteroid throws a head kick that misses.
Asteroid slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Gruber lands a jab to the nose.
Asteroid tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Gruber gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Asteroid on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Gruber creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Asteroid prevents a body shot from Gruber.
Gruber can't find room to land a body shot as Asteroid controls the action.
Asteroid is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Gruber is keeping busy.
Asteroid presses Gruber against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Gruber prevents Asteroid from breaking the clinch.
Asteroid managing to block the knees to the body from Gruber.
Gruber misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Asteroid.

Asteroid lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Asteroid takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Gruber dips to his left and cracks Asteroid with an uppercut!
Gruber scores with a nice right hand.
Asteroid lands a jab to Gruber's midsection.
Asteroid ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Asteroid lands with a thumping leg kick.
Gruber with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Asteroid to score with a decent uppercut.

Asteroid feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Gruber collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!

After the fight, Anabol Asteroid was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
