Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Souka Sudoka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Murphy Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murphy Brown told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown looks to land a combination but Sudoka avoids it well.
Brown tries to land a leg kick but Sudoka saw it coming and moves away.
A punch combination from Sudoka misses.
Brown throws a nice head kick!

Brown gets caught napping as Sudoka dives in and scores a takedown. Brown manages to retain guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Sudoka trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Sudoka is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Brown is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Brown has escaped and now he's on top!

Brown avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Brown is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Sudoka has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Brown is looking to defend but Sudoka has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Brown! Sudoka pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Brown taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Souka Sudoka!
