PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aze Toro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yamato Damashii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toro comes into the arena with Hate me or Get DIE tryn' - 50cent blaring out of the sound system. Damashii has chosen Ciemna Strefa as his entrance music. Aze Toro has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damashii takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A combination from Toro does no damage.
Toro throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Damashii.
Nice uppercut there from Toro.
Damashii keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Toro connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Damashii momentarily.
A left and a right from Toro both land. Nice combination.
Toro ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Damashii moves away.
Damashii looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Toro really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Damashii fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Toro ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Toro misses with a wild body shot.
Toro keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Damashii has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Toro finds it's way round the side to connect with Damashii's head.
Toro scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
The fight stays on the outside here - Damashii looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Damashii is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Toro comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Toro lands with an overhand left.
Damashii moves in looking to clinch but Toro pushes him off.
Damashii drops his hands momentarily and Toro takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Toro is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Toro throws a body punch but Damashii moves out of range.
Damashii fails with an attempt to clinch.
Toro throws a shot to the body.
Damashii moves to clinch but Toro breaks away
and Toro counters with a straight right hand.
Damashii is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Damashii or perhaps it was just good defense by Toro which made him look bad.
Aze Toro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yamato Damashii.
Toro pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Damashii back to the cage. Toro follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A slow jab from Damashii misses its intended target.
Toro lands a lovely overhand right.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Oooooh!!! Toro has knocked Damashii down with a huge combo! Toro steps away and waves a wobbly Damashii back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Damashii is rocked!
Damashii is trying desperately to land a takedown but Toro is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Damashii.
Toro closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Damashii out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Aze Toro!
