Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rand al Thor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alvin Lilke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alvin Lilke will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Alvin Lilke!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Josh West.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lilke shoots in and bounces al Thor off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Lilke trying to control the position from guard on top but al Thor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
al Thor pulls Lilke in close to his closed guard and prevents Lilke from doing any damage or advancing position.
Lilke trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
al Thor wants to sweep here but Lilke controlling him for the moment.
Lilke not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Alvin Lilke was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Lilke wants to clinch
and al Thor counters with a low kick, right behind Lilke 's knee.
The fighters circling - al Thor throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Lilke takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Lilke will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
al Thor lands with a straight right. Lilke didn't see that one coming.

It looks like Alvin Lilke has been cut.
al Thor swings for the body but Lilke moves out of range.
al Thor moves out of range of the body kick from Lilke.
Lilke wants to clinch.
al Thor misses with a straight right.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lilke throws a jab when al Thor was well out of range.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lilke.
al Thor leaves Lilke with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Rand al Thor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alvin Lilke.

al Thor lands a big head kick that sends Lilke tumbling to the mat! al Thor takes a step backwards and waves Lilke back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Lilke is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lilke checks a leg kick nicely.
Lilke is still on wobbly legs! Can al Thor finish him?

al Thor moves into the clinch successfully.
Lilke seems to have recovered his senses.
al Thor lands a body shot.
Lilke blocks an uppercut.

A shot in the inside from al Thor.
A left hand lands to the body for al Thor.
Lilke looks gassed!
al Thor lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
al Thor lands a left hand.
al Thor throws an elbow but it misses.
al Thor misses with a hook from the clinch.
Lilke blocking some punches.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Lilke.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from al Thor.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
al Thor pushes Lilke back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
al Thor throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Lilkes head.
al Thor lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
al Thor lands with a short shot to the head.

That has opened up Alvin Lilke's cut even more.
al Thor throws a big uppercut that drops Lilke! More strikes from al Thor and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Lilke lies dazed against the cage as al Thor celebrates with his cornermen!
