The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandao lands a big right hand that sends Gregorovitsj crashing to the mat! Brandao stays standing though and waves Gregorovitsj back to his feet!
Gregorovitsj is rocked!
It looks like Boris Gregorovitsj has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Brandao looks to land a right hand but Gregorovitsj moved out of range.
Oh Gregorovitsj is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Boris Gregorovitsj seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Gregorovitsj.

and Gregorovitsj counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Gregorovitsj keeps Brandao at a distance using the push kick.
A head kick misses from Gregorovitsj.
Brandao cracks Gregorovitsj on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Gregorovitsj falls backwards against the cage. Brandao follows up with more strikes that drop Gregorovitsj to his knees. Brandao keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Gregorovitsj! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Diego Brandao!
After the fight, Diego Brandao was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
