The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Face cracks Cavero with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

It looks like Juan Cavero has been cut.
Face throws a hook but Cavero blocks it.
Cavero looks to land a body kick but Face moved away.
Cavero displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Face throws out the jab.
Cavero sizes up Face with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Face misses with a straight right.
Face throws a shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Face scores with a nice head shot.
Cavero throws a head kick that misses.
Cavero tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Face manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Cavero throws a series of punches but Face avoids them all with ease.

No joy there for Cavero, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Face throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cavero tries to clinch but Face moves away
and Face counters with a nice uppercut.

Cavero is rocked!
Face throws an uppercut from hell that sends Cavero clean off his feet! He's out cold! Face stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
