Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kiwi Bird (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emiley Hardison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bird has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bird ducks right into an uppercut from Hardison.

Hardison has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Bird regains guard immediately.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Bird can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hardison controls the pace.
Hardison is in close to Bird's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Hardison has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bird uses from the top position.

Bird is sitting in close to Hardison's body. Hardison has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Bird is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Bird is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Hardison.
