Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Matt Trampling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Douglas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Matt Trampling!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Billy Douglas!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Douglas.
Trampling throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Trampling lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Douglas has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Douglas and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Matt Trampling seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Trampling takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Douglas cracks Trampling with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Douglas slaps away a takedown attempt from Trampling, before circling back to the center of the mat.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Douglas throws a right hand that Trampling ducks under and follows up with a left that Trampling also avoids with ease.

Trampling tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Douglas manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Trampling shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Douglas's guard.

Douglas connects with a good right hand that stumbles Trampling. Trampling circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Trampling wants to stay close but Douglas steps back to make room for something. Trampling seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Douglas and Trampling drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
