Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ronaldo Souza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Grandmaster Red!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Red fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Souza looks for a takedown but Red sprawls well.
Red scores with a jab to the head.
Grandmaster Red seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Red lands with an uppercut that bounces Souza off the cage and back into range.
Red fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Red thuds his right hand into Souza's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Red sizes up Souza with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Red lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Souza circles away quickly and effectively.

Red might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
A combination from Red does no damage.
Red throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Souza stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Red cracks Souza with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Souza fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Red avoids it really well and circles away.
Red ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Red goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Souza shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Red but Red pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Red fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Souza on the side of the head.

Red keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Nice straight punches there by Red. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Red.
Souza drops his hands momentarily and Red takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Red will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Red thuds a left hand into Souza's body.

Souza shoots in looking for a takedown. Red tries to sprawl out of it but Souza keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Red manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd cheers as Red lands an impressive looking overhand right. Souza doesn't seem phased though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Grandmaster Red showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Souza with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Red to score with a decent uppercut.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Souza might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Souza. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Well Red has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
