Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between D Dub Deborde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Dout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Dout's choice of entrance music: Don't Tread On Me by Metaillica. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dout feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Dout really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Deborde. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Deborde has a closed guard, preventing Dout from standing up.
Dout in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Deborde tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dout would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Deborde is on top in guard.
Dout is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Deborde throwing strikes from guard but Dout blocks nicely.
Deborde tries to free his leg and advance position but Dout is retaining full guard.

Deborde is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dout is just riding it out for now. Deborde eventually gives up the hold.

Dout pushes Deborde off but Deborde dives into side control.

Deborde is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dout is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Dout is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Deborde has hold of Dout's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Dout tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Deborde cranks the arm and Dout screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Dout, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
