The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruty throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rex.
Rex loads up on a big right hand but Kruty slips the punch.
Rex catches Kruty with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Kruty is looking to land body kicks.
Rex scores with a hook to the body. Kruty takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Nice body punch from Kruty.
Rex throws a looping overhand right but Kruty ducks down to avoid it.
Rex misses with a body shot.
Kruty slips a straight right by Rex.
Kruty throws a leg kick but Rex moved away.
Rex is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kruty.
Rex tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kruty was well out of range. Poor timing from Rex.

Kruty uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rex.
Rex looks to throw the jab but Kruty is out of range.

Kruty throws a leg kick but Rex sees it coming and checks it nicely.

A thudding body kick lands there by Kruty!
Rex needs to keep his hands up - Kruty had a free shot at his head there.
Rex pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Kruty back to the ropes. Rex follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Rex shoots for a double leg takedown but Kruty sprawls well. He's pushed Rex's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Rex tries to clinch but Kruty moves away
and Kruty counters with a slapping leg kick.
Kruty throws a sloppy head kick and Rex moves out of range easily.
Kruty bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Rex's head.
Rex uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kruty.
Rex has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Kruty.
Rex lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Kruty cracks Rex with a good jab.

Kruty scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rex doesn't seem bothered though.
Kruty connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Rex's hands.
Kruty feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Rex's calf.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kruty, right into the meat.
Kruty fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rex has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kruty lands a leg kick that knocks Rex off balance momentarily.

and Kruty counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Kruty lands a nice looking kick to the body. Rex takes a step back to recover.

Rex swings for the body but Kruty moves out of range.
Kruty takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Kruty misses with a few strikes there.
Kruty misses with a double jab.
Kruty thuds his shin into the meat of Rex's side.
Kruty misses with a hook. Rex ducked under it nicely.
Kruty throws a low kick but it's checked well by Rex.
Rex throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kruty looks to land a right hand but Rex moved out of range.
An inside leg kick lands from Kruty.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rex throws an overhand right that lands on Kruty's shoulder, as Kruty tries to avoid the shot.
Rex throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kruty on the side of the head.
Kruty misses with a looping right.
Kruty dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Rex. That did some damage!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Rex shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kruty as he jumps to the side.

Rex closes the distance and clinches up with Kruty, looking for a takedown. Rex pushes Kruty against the ropes but Kruty circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kruty throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Kruty throws a sloppy head kick and Rex moves out of range easily.
Rex tries for a takedown but Kruty sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Spandex Rex. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Rex takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Rex chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kruty can pounce on him.

That kick from Kruty tenderised Rex's leg. Rex is trying to keep his angry face on.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Kruty.
Kruty walks into a left hand.
Rex misses with a hook. Kruty ducked under it nicely.
Kruty goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Rex swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Rex. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Rex takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Rex will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Rex chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kruty can pounce on him.
Rex misses the shot to the body.
Kruty lands a nice leg kick that just misses Rex's sensitive parts.
Rex shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kruty but Kruty pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Rex looks to land a combination but Kruty avoids it well.

Rex gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Kruty cracks Rex on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Rex falls backwards against the ropes. Kruty follows up with more strikes that drop Rex to his knees. Kruty keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Rex! This one is all over!
