Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Stef Johannsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Peeters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Victor Peeters told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peeters throws a head kick that half lands.
Johannsen dodges the punch combination from Peeters.
Peeters tries to clinch up
and Johannsen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Victor Peeters has been cut.
Peeters fails with an attempt to clinch.
Peeters throws a push kick but Johannsen slaps the foot to one side.
A good leg kick by Peeters.
Johannsen scores with a head kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Peeters tries to close the distance and clinch up but Johannsen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The fight stays on the outside here - Peeters looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Johannsen throws a hook to the side of Peeters's head but Peeters sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Johannsen counters with a nice body kick.
Johannsen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Peeters.

That has opened up Victor Peeters's cut even more.
Peeters looks to clinch
and Peeters takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Johannsen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Peeters looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Johannsen forces Peeters back against the ropes and clinches.
Johannsen throws a knee to the head but misses.
Peeters seems to have recovered his senses.
Peeters wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Johannsen has him pressed against the ropes.
Johannsen lands with a light punch inside.

Johannsen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Johannsen lands a nice shot that snaps Peeters's head back.
Peeters tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Johannsen holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Johannsen misses with a knee to the head.
Peeters throws an elbow but it misses.
With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Johannsen just misses with a elbow thrown towards Peeters's brow.
Johannsen lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Peeters backwards.

Johannsen struggles to land a body shot inside as Peeters controls his hands.

Johannsen is looking to control Peeters's arms but Peeters gets an underhook and turns him. Now Johannsen has his back to the ropes.

Johannsen prevents Peeters from breaking the clinch.
Johannsen pushes Peeters back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch.

Victor Peeters's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Johannsen controlling the action here for a moment.

Johannsen swings wildly with an uppercut but Peeters uses good head movement to avoid it.
Peeters tries to land knees in the clinch but Johannsen avoids the damage to the body.

Peeters breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Peeters tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Johannsen paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Johannsen counters with a good low kick that Peeters was not able to check.
Peeters is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Johannsen dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Peeters moves to clinch but Johannsen breaks away
and Johannsen counters with a nice low kick that buckles Peeters's knee momentarily.
Johannsen stuns Peeters with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Johannsen, right into the meat.
Peeters is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
