Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jalmari Kianto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomppa Tyrmaaja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyrmaaja has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tyrmaaja looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Kianto drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kianto stands up from Tyrmaaja's guard - Kianto perhaps looking for a knockout.
Kianto scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Kianto is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Kianto seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Tyrmaaja for as long as he can get away with.
Kianto drops an elbow to the side of Tyrmaaja's head.

Tyrmaaja takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Kianto stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Kianto bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Kianto is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tyrmaaja knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Kianto tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
