Farmery closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stalin circles away.
Vlad Stalin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stalin misses with a double jab
and Farmery counters with a left to the body.

Stalin gets caught napping as Farmery dives in and scores a takedown. Stalin manages to retain guard.

Farmery stands and steps away. Stalin gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Farmery drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Farmery jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Farmery works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stalin looks gassed!

Farmery is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Farmery uses his free foot to push down on Stalin's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Stalin.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stalin is squirming around, avoiding Farmery's attempts to control the action.

Farmery swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
