The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, John Mangel and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez moves into range and connects with a jab.
Gracie bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Gracie is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hernandez knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Gracie is trying to get an arm triangle but Hernandez is defending well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gracie looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

An elbow from Gracie crashes against the mat.
Gracie thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Hernandez is trying to buck Gracie off.

Gracie has hold of Hernandez's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Hernandez seems comfortable defending it but Gracie has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Hernandez is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Hernandez is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Gracie couldn't care less - he's delighted!
