Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Trine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Minamoto Yoritomo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Minamoto Yoritomo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trine jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Michael Trine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Minamoto Yoritomo.

Yoritomo is fighting off a takedown attempt but Trine is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Yoritomo to the mat. Yoritomo regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Yoritomo has Trine pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Trine manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Yoritomo is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Trine is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Yoritomo is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Yoritomo has escaped and now he's on top!

Trine tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Yoritomo has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Trine is trying to defend against the choke here but Yoritomo has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Yoritomo Tightens the hold and Trine taps out furiously! Yoritomo displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
