Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Backstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mister Pink (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Backstrom comes to the cage accompanied by Girl I Love. Pink has chosen Mitsa as his entrance music. David Backstrom is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, David Backstrom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 42 - 1, fighting out of London, Mister Pink!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Backstrom has a takedown stuffed.
Pink looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Backstrom is fending him off so far but Pink persists. Nope, Backstrom circles away and we're back to standing.
Pink shoots in for a takedown but Backstrom shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Backstrom stuffs the takedown.
David Backstrom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mister Pink.
Backstrom doesn't manage to clinch there - Pink circles away.
Pink shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Backstrom sprawls well. Backstrom wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pink gets slowly back to his feet.

Backstrom slows down the pace here.
Pink is trying to push Backstrom away but Backstrom has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Backstrom scores a nice knee to the body.
Backstrom is pressed up against the cage. Pink has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Backstrom down to the mat. Backstrom avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Backstrom gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Backstrom gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Backstrom tightens his grip and picks Pink up, before dumping him to the ground. Pink manages to land in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Backstrom postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Backstrom is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Backstrom wants to control from the top but Pink keeps moving.
Pink wants to sweep but no luck.

Backstrom stands up from Pink's guard - Backstrom perhaps looking for a knockout.

Backstrom closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Pink quickly recovers to half guard.

Backstrom looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
