Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Saymon Saymon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Muggy Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Saymon Saymon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Muggy Blaze!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blaze gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Saymon to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Blaze is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Saymon sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Blaze's guard.

Saymon wants to stand up but Blaze has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Blaze wants to get back to full guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Saymon in particular looking to stall.
Saymon scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Blaze is trying to get back to full guard.
Well, if Saymon is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Saymon tries to pass the half guard into mount. Blaze knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Blaze works his way to full guard. Good work.

Saymon gets to his feet - Blaze follows without any prompting.
Blaze keeps the fight on the outside.
Blaze tries to clinch there but Saymon circles away.
Blaze fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Saymon circles away from the clinch attempt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Saymon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Blaze, pushing him back against the cage.
Saymon jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Blaze walks away with a smile on his face. Saymon gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Blaze thows a left - swing and a miss!
Saymon fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Blaze avoids it really well and circles away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Saymon dodges the punch combination from Blaze.
Saymon stuffs the takedown.

Blaze has closed the distance and engaged Saymon in a clinch.
Saymon has Blaze pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Blaze manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Saymon Saymon. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Saymon has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Blaze uses from the top position.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Saymon holds on and takes a little breather.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Blaze drives through with a takedown into guard.

Saymon Saymon dominated that round.
That's time! Saymon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Blaze manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Saymon on his heels. He'll look to pass Saymon's guard now, I'm sure.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Blaze's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Saymon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Blaze doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Blaze manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Blaze is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Saymon is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Blaze wants to stand but Saymon has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Blaze wants to get up but he can't break Saymon's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Blaze wants to pass the guard but Saymon is keeping the position.

Saymon has his foot on Blaze's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Blaze works his way back into a safe position though.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Muggy Blaze.
Blaze fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Saymon swats away the attempt to clinch by Blaze.

Blaze pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Blaze is breathing heavily.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Saymon.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Blaze in particular looking to stall.
Saymon is looking to control Blaze's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Saymon avoid being mounted?
Blaze wants to stand up but Saymon manages to regain full guard.

Saymon has his foot on Blaze's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Blaze works his way back into a safe position though.
Saymon is trying to control the position but Blaze postures up.
Blaze throws a big right hand that misses.

Saymon keeping moving, preventing Blaze from controlling successfully.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Muggy Blaze showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Blaze fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Saymon sprawls well initially but Blaze persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Saymon wants to control but Blaze is keeping busy.
Blaze is taking a breather. Saymon says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Blaze seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Saymon does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Muggy Blaze was stalling too much, according to the referee.

and Blaze counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Blaze frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Blaze prevents Saymon from getting the reversal.

A nice elbow there by Blaze.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Blaze blocks Saymon's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Saymon tries to hold on but Blaze pushes him away.
Blaze fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Saymon can't escape the position.
Blaze controlling the pace for now.
Blaze scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Saymon?

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Blaze cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Blaze is working for a guillotine from mount but Saymon frees his head quite easily.
Saymon is squirming around, avoiding Blaze's attempts to control the action.
Blaze might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Saymon kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Saymon really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Blaze controlling from mount.
Saymon wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

And that's the end of the fight!
Muggy Blaze comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Blaze has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
