Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Afro Jack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Cong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Kyle Cong enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cong takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Cong defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jack.

Jack tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cong swivels and escapes.

Afro Jack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jack is rocked!
Jack shoots in but Cong avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Oh Jack is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cong goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
No luck for Jack with that takedown attempt.
Jack seems to have got his legs back now.
Cong connects with a body shot that sends Jack's belly button to the back.

Cong sends Jack crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Cong is motioning to the referee to let Jack up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cong can do anything to dispel that myth.

Cong had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jack defends it easily.

Jack has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jack accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Jack drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Cong dives on top into guard.

Cong wants to stand but Jack has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Cong sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jack's guard.

It looks like Cong is going to stand back up.
Jack is trying to stand up here but Cong is controlling him well.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jack.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jack looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jack changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cong tries to avoid it but Jack manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cong to the ground. Cong escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Cong counters with a nice uppercut.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Cong fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jack, pushing him back against the cage.

Jack is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Cong is defending well.

Cong tightens his grip and picks Jack up, before dumping him to the ground. Jack manages to land in guard.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Jack. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Cong jabs Jack to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Cong closes the distance and clinches.
The referee calls for Cong to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cong wants to get back to striking at distance but Jack won't allow it.

Cong wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Jack landing knees to the head.
Cong is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Jack gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Cong manages to break the clinch.
Cong stalks Jack and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jack's face. Jack staggers backwards, shaken.
Jack shoots in but no luck this time.
Kyle Cong is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Cong enables Jack to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Cong manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cong is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Jack slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The ground and pound from Jack seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Cong managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Jack.
Cong is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Jack is controlling him well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cong is not content to let Jack control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Cong tries to clinch but Jack is having none of it.

and Jack counters with a good, hard body kick but Cong shrugs it off.
Nice takedown defense from Cong. No joy for Jack on that attempt.
Jack closes the distance but Cong moves to the side
and Cong counters with a series of strikes. Jack will be more careful next time no doubt.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jack is defended easily by Cong.
Jack throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cong's waist but Cong gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jack off to one side.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Cong goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Cong misses with a series of wild punches.
A punch lands to the side of Jack 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Jack tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cong paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cong looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Cong throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Jack colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Cong as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Jack is left battered and dazed whilst Cong and his camp cheer!
