The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boxer tries to keep at a distance but Hogan has taken the fight into the clinch.
Hogan lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Boxer backwards.
It looks like Barbara Boxer has been cut.

Hogan keeps control of Boxer as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Boxer is trying to maintain a safe position but Hogan gets an underhook and turns Boxer into the cage.
Hogan pushes Boxer back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Hogan cracks Boxer with a nice body shot.

Boxer is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Hogan screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hulk Hogan!
Hulk Hogan was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
