Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aulis Makkonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isibeda Tintti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Makkonen's entrance music is Metsämiehen Laulu. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aulis Makkonen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Isibeda Tintti!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tintti misses with a looping right.
Makkonen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Makkonen works over Tintti's head and body with a nice combination.
Makkonen throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Tintti throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tintti swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Tintti throws out a loose jab but Makkonen uses good head movement to avoid it.
Makkonen works over Tintti's head and body with a nice combination.
A telegraphed right hand from Tintti misses the target.
Makkonen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A decent looking cross lands there for Tintti.
It looks like Aulis Makkonen has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Makkonen gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Makkonen tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Tintti is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Makkonen buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Makkonen!! Makkonen is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Tintti throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Isibeda Tintti!
After the fight, Isibeda Tintti was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
