Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boon Baboon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ac Slater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baboon comes to the cage accompanied by Masterchef Synesthesia. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baboon fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A cross from Slater lands.
Baboon looks for a takedown but Slater sprawls well.

Baboon shoots in and bounces Slater off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Slater looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Baboon drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Slater dives on top into guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Ac Slater.
Baboon has his takedown stuffed
and Slater makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Baboon really felt that one!

Baboon misses with a looping right.
Baboon tries for a takedown but Slater sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A telegraphed right hand from Baboon misses the target.
Slater scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Ac Slater is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A solid leg kick lands there for Slater.
Slater slaps away a takedown attempt from Baboon, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Slater comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Baboon takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
No luck for Baboon with that takedown attempt.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Baboon has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Slater.
Baboon is breathing heavily.

Slater lands with a kick to the ribs.
Baboon tries for a takedown but Slater circles away easily
and Slater counters with a nice leg kick.
Baboon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Slater but Slater pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Baboon is trying hard to land a takedown here. Slater sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Boon Baboon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Baboon chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Slater can pounce on him.
Slater scores with a kick to the body.
Donk. Slater catches Baboon right on the button with a cross.
Slater cracks Baboon with a right hand to the side of the head.
Nice uppercut lands for Slater. That snapped Baboon's head back.
Decent striking displayed by Slater there.
Baboon sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Slater works the jab nicely.

and Slater counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Slater dips to his left and cracks Baboon with an uppercut!

Slater connects with a single shot there.
Oh Baboon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Crunch! Slater slams his shin into Baboon's torso.
Baboon moves forwards but Slater connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Slater is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Slater throws a leg kick which misses Baboon's front leg but catches the back leg as Baboon tries to avoid it.
Slater is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Baboon had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Slater drops Baboon with a naaaaasty hook - Baboon is in real trouble here! Slater dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ac Slater!
