PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doug Graves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Remo Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Graves comes to the cage accompanied by Alvarez. The crowd seem to be enjoying Williams's choice of entrance music: Living Colour - Cult Of Personality. Williams has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Doug Graves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Remo Williams!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Ryoma Takatsuka and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Graves shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Williams manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Doug Graves.
Williams shoots in looking for a takedown. Graves tries to sprawl out of it but Williams keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Graves manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Williams looks gassed!

Graves closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Williams quickly recovers to half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Graves seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Graves trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Graves throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Williams was covering up waiting for the punch and Graves finishes the takedown easily into guard.
