Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Condor Axe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shigeo Miyato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miyato misses with a takedown attempt
and Axe counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Axe throws a hook to the side of Miyato's head but Miyato sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Miyato misses with an attempted mid kick.
Shigeo Miyato seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Miyato gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Axe counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Axe tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Miyato paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Condor Axe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shigeo Miyato.

Miyato shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

and Axe counters with a three punch combo that has Miyato backing up. Miyato nods at Axe to acknowledge the strikes.
Axe throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Axe throws a lazy right hand but Miyato sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Miyato fails to land the takedown.

and Axe counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Axe smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Miyato shoots in looking for a takedown. Axe tries to sprawl out of it but Miyato keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Axe manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Axe on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Axe gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Axe is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Axe is keen to just control but Miyato is a slippery customer.
Miyato wants to control but Axe is keeping busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Axe with the ground and pound but Miyato uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Axe is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Axe wants to control from the top but Miyato keeps moving.

Miyato lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Axe!

Miyato shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Miyato has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Axe has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Axe defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Miyato's arms.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Miyato goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Axe has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Miyato but great work by Axe.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Shigeo Miyato comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Miyato has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
