The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Correia dives in and scores a takedown into Nelson's guard.
Nelson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Correia is controlling him.

Correia's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Correia has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Correia knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nelson on the ground.

Nelson tries to roll over but Correia keeps him under control.

Correia dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Nelson shoots for a takedown but Correia saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Correia connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Nelson! He's out on his feet! Correia rushes in and drops Nelson with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

Leandro Correia tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
