Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bushido Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Suzuki Hayabusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes into the arena with Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros - Home blaring out of the sound system. Hayabusa has chosen Sakura as his entrance music. Bushido Brown has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bushido Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Suzuki Hayabusa!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayabusa connects with a crisp jab.
Hayabusa misses with a left hand
enabling Brown to counter with a crisp jab.
Brown looks to land a right hand but Hayabusa moved out of range.
Brown throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hayabusa rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Brown moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hayabusa fails with a takedown attempt.
Hayabusa slips a jab and a cross from Brown.
Brown throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hayabusa.
Brown misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hayabusa throws a hook but Brown avoids it easily.
Brown shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Brown takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A swing and a miss from Hayabusa.
A slow jab from Hayabusa misses its intended target.
Hayabusa lands a glancing blow to the side of Brown's head.
Brown scores with a crisp jab that stopped Hayabusa in his tracks.
Hayabusa dodges the punch combination from Brown.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hayabusa throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hayabusa works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A cross from Hayabusa lands.
Hayabusa cracks Brown with an open hand slap.
Brown throws a quick inside leg kick.
Brown will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
No joy there for Hayabusa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hayabusa throws a poor cross that misses

and Brown counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Brown is trying to control. Hayabusa wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Hayabusa wants to control but Brown is keeping busy.
Brown is nestled in close to Hayabusa, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Brown seems to be working for a kimura but Hayabusa defends the submission attempt.
Brown missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Hayabusa is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Brown pulls his head out easily.

Brown seems to be working for a kimura but Hayabusa defends the submission attempt.
Hayabusa tries to get to full guard but Brown has control of the leg.
Hayabusa is refusing to be controlled, as Brown sits in half guard.

Brown is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hayabusa doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Brown.

Hayabusa tries to roll over but Brown keeps him under control.
Brown seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Hayabusa wants to get back to full guard.

Brown has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Brown throwing strikes from guard but Hayabusa blocks nicely.

Brown content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.


Hayabusa is rocked!
Brown postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Hayabusa is still in real trouble! Can Brown finish him?
Brown postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Hayabusa covers up, he's hurt! Brown keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Brown and the ref steps in to end the fight! Brown can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bushido Brown!
An out of breath Bushido Brown thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
