The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Steele is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Smokeleaf throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Smokeleaf tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Steele paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Smokeleaf is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Steele is looking to control Smokeleaf's arms but Smokeleaf gets an underhook and turns him. Now Steele has his back to the cage.

A very excited looking Jesus Smokeleaf rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
