Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cu Chulainn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zekariays Solomon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chulainn's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Blood of Cu Chulainn. Solomon has chosen Monster - Skillet as his entrance music. Cu Chulainn could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Zekariays Solomon's chin.

With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zekariays Solomon!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Lou da Vinci and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chulainn cracks Solomon with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Chulainn has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Solomon to stand back up!

It looks like Zekariays Solomon has been cut.

Solomon tried to score with a low kick but Chulainn checks it.
Solomon steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Chulainn.
Chulainn moves out of range as Solomon throws a body kick.
Chulainn blocks a head kick by Solomon.
Chulainn throws the left hand but Solomon avoids the punch easily.
Chulainn throws a hook but Solomon avoids it easily.
Chulainn swings for the body but Solomon moves out of range.
Zekariays Solomon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Solomon displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Chulainn throws out the jab.
Chulainn avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Chulainn thows a left - swing and a miss!
Chulainn takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Chulainn misses with an uppercut. Solomon saw that one coming.

Solomon lands a nice leg kick that just misses Chulainn's sensitive parts.

Solomon wants to control from the top but Chulainn keeps moving.

Solomon throws a big elbow that misses.

Chulainn is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Solomon is controlling him.
Solomon postures up in Chulainn's guard and throws a big left but Chulainn blocks it.
Solomon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Solomon is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Chulainn wants to get back to his feet but Solomon is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Solomon is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Solomon lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Solomon turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
A left lands for Solomon.
Solomon throws a head kick that half lands.

A close round but Zekariays Solomon will probably get the nod.

Solomon does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Chulainn pounces like a tiger and cracks Solomon with a vicious hook! Solomon is down but not out! Chulainn follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
