The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michalski fails with an attempt to clinch.
Michalski moves in looking to clinch but Muller pushes him off.
A looping hook to the body misses from Michalski. Muller does a little dance to reset his feet.

Muller closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Michalski's guard.

Muller stands up and beckons Michalski to join him on the feet.
Michalski tries to close the distance and clinch but Muller swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Muller thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Michalski is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Muller closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Michalski is staying active underneath Muller, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Muller decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Muller lands a big head kick that sends Michalski tumbling to the mat! Muller takes a step backwards and waves Michalski back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Muller decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Muller goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Michalski turns into him and now he's in Muller's guard.

Michalski drops back, looking for a kneebar! Muller looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Muller looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Muller!
