Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Cody Miller was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Dean shoots in for a takedown but Miller shows good takedown defense.
Dean will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Dean has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Miller avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Dean changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Miller fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Dean throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Miller's waist but Miller gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dean off to one side.

Dean changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Miller tries to avoid it but Dean manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Miller to the ground. Miller escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Miller rushes Dean and presses him up against the cage.

Dean tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Miller just stands there and leans against the cage.

Dean jumps guard but Miller stands there with Dean around his waist. Dean gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Dean shoots in looking for a takedown. Miller tries to sprawl out of it but Dean keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Miller manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dean shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Miller's guard.
Dean pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Miller is keeping the position for now.

Dean is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Dean moves into full mount! Miller won't be happy about that!

Cody Miller dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Miller gets caught flat footed, as Dean shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Dean wants to lay and pray for a moment but Miller keeps working.

Dean is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Miller!
Miller has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
Dean working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Miller is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Dean has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Miller taps out!
