Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ralph Barcinas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Winslow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barcinas gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Winslow decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Barcinas's guard.

Winslow passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Winslow has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Winslow stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Barcinas tries to score a power double leg takedown but Winslow sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Barcinas somewhat.

Barcinas changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Winslow looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Barcinas advances nicely into full mount.
Winslow can't escape the position.
Poor strikes thrown by Barcinas there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Winslow is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Barcinas working for a guillotine from mount but Winslow is in no mood to give up.
Barcinas lands a big shot there that rocks Winslow but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Barcinas goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Winslow turns into him and now he's in Barcinas's guard.
Winslow slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Winslow tries to move to mount but Barcinas blocks the move with his legs.
Barcinas wants to control but Winslow postures up.

Winslow tries for a kimura but Barcinas is defending well.
Barcinas prevents Winslow from improving position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Winslow has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Winslow with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Winslow fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Winslow has hold of Barcinas's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Barcinas manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Barcinas tries to hold on but Winslow pushes him away.
Barcinas is breathing heavily.

Winslow stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barcinas throws a body punch but Winslow moves out of range.
Barcinas doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Winslow counters with a shoot takedown. Barcinas fights it but they end up in guard.

Winslow looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Barcinas covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
