Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hank Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Hand (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hand is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ladies and Gentlemen. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 18 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hank Hill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Hand!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hand misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hill.
Hand looks to score with a jab to the body but Hill is just out of range.
The fighters circling - Hill throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hand swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hill with a nice cross.
Hand lunges at Hill with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hill's hand.
Hill connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hand. Hand circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Hill looks to score with a jab to the body but Hand is just out of range.

Hill fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hand sprawls well initially but Hill persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Hand pushes Hill off looking to stand but Hill dives back in and keeps control.

Hill wants to pass the guard but Hand is defending well.
Hill frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Hill is trying to take his opponent's back.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Hill has control of Hand's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hand regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Hand is looking to improve his position but Hill isn't that keen on the idea.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Hand is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Hand prevents Hill from taking his back.

Hill looking for a guillotine from mount but Hand is having none of it.
Hand is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Hill has taken his back.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hill gets his hands free as Hand looks to control.

Hill is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Hand is defending well though. Hill let's go of the attempt for now.

Hill is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Hand defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Hand is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Hill off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Hand rolls, trying to escape but Hill keeps control of the position.

Hill is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Hand knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Hand for a finish.

Hill has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Hand has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Hand is trying to stand back up.

Hill looking to break Hand's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Hand remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Hill will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Hand really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hill. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hill is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Hand defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hill has his arm under Hand's chin here. Game over son! Hill squeezes tightly and Hand is forced to tap out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Hank Hill!
A less than humble Hank Hill misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
