Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Beck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spuke Ares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beck comes to the cage accompanied by Seek and Destroy. Ares has chosen Pretty Girlz as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ares looks for a takedown but Beck sprawls well.
Ares tries to clinch there but Beck circles away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ares.
Ares tries to score a power double leg takedown but Beck sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ares somewhat.
John Beck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Spuke Ares.
Beck throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Ares wants to control from the top but Beck keeps moving.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Spuke Ares hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Ares shoots for a double leg takedown but Beck sprawls well. He's pushed Ares's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Beck rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ares moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Ares changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Beck tries to avoid it but Ares manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Beck to the ground. Beck escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ares fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Beck avoids it really well and circles away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ares shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Beck pinned against the cage. Beck gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Spuke Ares seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beck throws a right hand that Ares ducks under and follows up with a left that Ares also avoids with ease.

Ares misses with a takedown attempt - Beck sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ares staying out of range there.
Beck is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Ares's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Beck looks to score with a jab to the body but Ares is just out of range.
Beck connects with a body shot that sends Ares's belly button to the back.

Ares shoots in for a takedown but Beck shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
