Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Renato Sobral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Something Else (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sobral comes to the cage accompanied by Kanye West-Stronger. Else has chosen TUF Theme song as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Sobral both land. Nice combination.
Sobral avoids the head kick by Else.
Else with a nice cross.
A decent looking cross lands there for Sobral.
Sobral throws the kick towards the body but Else avoids it.
Sobral fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Else manages to avoid it.
Sobral takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Sobral throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Sobral tries to close the distance and clinch but Else swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sobral connects with a body shot.

Else lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Else explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Sobral uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Else.
Sobral slips a straight right by Else.
Sobral takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Sobral tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Else manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Else comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Sobral closes the distance but Else moves to the side
and Else counters with a three punch combo that has Sobral backing up. Sobral nods at Else to acknowledge the strikes.
Sobral thows a body shot but no joy.
Sobral has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Sobral there as he acknowledges the shot.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Sobral darts in and clinches Else up against the cage.
A short body shot lands from Sobral as the two fighters clinch.
Sobral swings away with an uppercut that misses.

A close round but Something Else will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Sobral closes the distance and pushes Else back into the cage.

Else fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sobral manages to avoid it.

Else gets tackled into the cage by Sobral. Sobral maintains the clinch.
Sobral keeps control of Else as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Else prevents a body shot from Sobral.
Sobral can't find room to land a body shot as Else controls the action.

Else escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Else looks to land a body kick but Sobral moved away.
Sobral tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Else was well out of range. Poor timing from Sobral.

Else decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Else decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
A thudding body kick lands there by Sobral!
Else jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Else steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sobral.
Sobral takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Oh Sobral is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Else lands with a hook. Sobral tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Else shoots in for a takedown but Sobral shows good takedown defense.
Else is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sobral.
Something Else seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Else throws a quick head kick that knocks Sobral silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Else is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
