Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lars Gyrvish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake colby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gyrvish might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Five Minutes Alone. Lars Gyrvish has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

colby clinches up against the cage.
Gyrvish looking for a takedown.
Gyrvish is working for takedown but colby is calmly controlling the position for now.
colby avoids the elbow strike from Gyrvish, against the cage.

colby has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Gyrvish regains guard immediately.
colby tries to stand but Gyrvish is controlling from the bottom.

Gyrvish has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but colby can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
colby throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

colby is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Gyrvish has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. colby is looking to defend but Gyrvish has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for colby! Gyrvish pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, colby taps out and this one is all over!
