The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elder throws a nice looking combination but Silva bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Silva swats away the attempt to clinch by Elder.
Silva connects with a crisp jab.

It looks like Billy Elder has been cut.

Silva works over Elder's head and body with a nice combination.
Nice straight punches there by Silva. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Silva.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Elder tries to close the distance and clinch but Silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Elder shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Silva defends it nicely.
Silva pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Elder back to the cage. Silva follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Elder shoots in looking for a takedown but Silva manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Elder's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Silva throws a sloppy head kick and Elder moves out of range easily.

Silva drops Elder with a left right combo! Silva follows him down to the ground into side control.

Elder is rocked!

That has opened up Billy Elder's cut even more.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Silva creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Elder sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Elder is still in real trouble! Can Silva finish him?
Elder avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Silva.
Silva is trying to ground and pound but Elder uses the momentary lack of control by Silva to regain half guard.
Elder seems to have recovered his senses.

Elder pushes Silva off and gets back to his feet.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Elder.
Luciano Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Elder.
Elder moves forwards but Silva connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Elder takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

The cut above Billy Elder's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Silva lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Elder goes down and covers up as Silva starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
