Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chad Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leandro Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chad Law is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Law lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
A big left from Law misses.
Rua takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Law lands a right hook to the body.
A punch lands to the side of Rua 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Chad Law seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Law fails to land with a series of punches.
Law feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ruas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Law lands with a hook. Rua tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Rua fails with a takedown attempt.

Law scores with a hook to the body. Rua takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Nice uppercut lands for Law. That snapped Rua's head back.
Law lands with a right hand.
Law takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Law stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rua.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rua throws a solid leg kick but Law takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Rua.
Law lands with an uppercut that bounces Rua off the cage and back into range.

Rua motions for Law to come forward. Rua throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Law goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Rua tries to land a front kick but Law steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Law connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Rua's hands.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rua shoots in for a takedown but Law shows good takedown defense.
Law rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rua moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Chad Law is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Law connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Rua momentarily.
Law will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Law takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

and Rua counters with a good low kick that Law was not able to check.
Rua throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Law's waist but Law gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rua off to one side.
Law's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Law duly obliges.

Rua buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Law lands a glancing blow to the side of Rua's head.
Rua misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Law misses with an uppercut. Rua saw that one coming.

Rua is breathing heavily.
Law thuds his right hand into Rua's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Law lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rua has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rua and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Rua has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.

Law throws a low kick but it's checked well by Rua.
Law connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Law closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Law throws a right and a left that Rua avoids nicely.

Law lands a left and a right that send Rua crashing to the mat, dazed. Law thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Law fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Rua checks it well.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Rua might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Law has got the better of the exchanges.

Rua pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Law lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Rua backs up against the cage.

Rua is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Law moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
