Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Royse Gracy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Serega Ukolov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracy fails with the takedown

and Ukolov counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Ukolov seems to be looking for submissions.

Gracy is looking for a triangle but Ukolov pushes his legs off easily.
Ukolov wants to get up but he can't break Gracy's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Gracy pulls Ukolov in close to his closed guard and prevents Ukolov from doing any damage or advancing position.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Serega Ukolov wasn't active enough on the ground.

Ukolov closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ukolov lands in his opponent's guard.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Gracy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Ukolov tries to clinch but Gracy is having none of it.

Ukolov throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Ukolov throws an elbow but Gracy slips to the side and avoids it well.

Ukolov has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Ukolov feints and as Gracy raises his hands in defense, Ukolov changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ukolov wants to control from the top but Gracy keeps moving.
Ukolov pushes down on Gracy's leg and manages to get into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gracy is pressing down on Ukolov's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Gracy is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Ukolov has his hands clasped together but Gracy extends an breaks Ukolov's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Gracy.
