Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vice Grip (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stevie Hinch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Vice Grip has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Vice Grip!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stevie Hinch!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Donatello Bradman and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hinch moves out of range of the body kick from Grip.
Grip lands with a thumping leg kick.
Stevie Hinch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hinch lands with an uppercut that bounces Grip off the cage and back into range.
An inside leg kick from Grip misses.
Grip throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Grip uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hinch.
Hinch misses with an uppercut.
Grip tries a head kick but it misses.
Hinch is looking to clinch but Grip is avoiding it.
Nice sprawl there from Grip as Hinch shoots in.
Hinch shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Grip counters with a nice leg kick.
Hinch scores with a punch to the head.

Hinch closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Grip has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Hinch after a bit of a struggle.

Hinch has Grip pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Hinch pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Grip tumbling to the mat - Hinch dives into Grip's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Grip is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hinch defends well.

Hinch advances position into side control!
Grip is trying to improve his position.

Hinch tries for a kimura but Grip is defending well.

Grip is not content to let Hinch control the position.

Grip sneaks back into half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hinch lands a nice short elbow.
Grip has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hinch is working away from the top position though.
Hinch lands strikes from half guard.
Grip on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Hinch seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Hinch takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Hinch wants to control but Grip is keeping him busy.

Grip is staying active underneath Hinch, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Hinch lands a big elbow - Grip is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Hinch!
