Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ricardo Rick!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rick tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nava swivels and escapes.
Nava throws a good cross that connects.
It looks like Ricardo Rick has been cut.
Nava misses the body punch
and Rick counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Nava is trying to control the position but Rick postures up.
Rick with a flurry of punches that miss.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rick throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rick accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rick tries to stand but Nava is controlling from the bottom.

Rick tries to free his leg and advance position but Nava is retaining full guard.
Nava knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rick on the ground.
Rick advances to half guard.
Nava is defending against the submission attempts here by Rick.

Nava wants to get back to his feet.
Rick is trying to control the action in half guard but Nava is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Rick slips a nice elbow through Nava's hands, connecting with Nava's forehead.
Rick maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Nava could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Rick has cracked it and Nava is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Rick!
