Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Houston Marley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gugu Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gugu Mason is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gugu Mason!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mason fails with the takedown

and Marley counters with a shoot takedown. Mason fights it but they end up in guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Marley working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Mason's head.

Mason is working an open guard so Marley takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Marley shoots in and bounces Mason off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Marley is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Mason has control of Marley's left arm, preventing Marley from doing any damage.
Mason controls Marley momentarily but Marley frees himself.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Mason throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Marley misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Marley drops his hands momentarily and Mason takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Gugu Mason seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marley with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mason to score with a decent uppercut.

It looks like Houston Marley has been cut.

Marley fails with a takedown attempt.
Mason defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Marley.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Houston Marley. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mason lands with a hook. Marley tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mason connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Marley tries to work over Mason's front leg with a kick but Mason checks it.
Marley tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mason swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mason lands a hook that stumbles Marley back into the ropes. Mason follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Marley to the canvas! Mason pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Marley has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
