The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko swings widly with a right hand
and Pitbull counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Emelianenko jabs at Pitbull's body.
Pitbull tests Emelianenko's chin there with a solid looking shot.

It looks like Fedor Emelianenko has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Emelianenko misses with a jab to the body

and Emelianenko is countered with a crisp right hand from Pitbull that sends him to the canvas! Pitbull follows him to the mat into side control.

Emelianenko is rocked!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Pitbull tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pitbull has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Emelianenko is still in real trouble! Can Pitbull finish him?
Pitbull moves into full mount!
Emelianenko is trying to escape the mount.
Emelianenko seems to have recovered his senses.
Pitbull unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Emelianenko wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Pitbull celebrates on the ropes and the crowd goes wild!
