Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gary Manard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Nobis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manard comes to the cage accompanied by Go Hard Or Go Home. Manard has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gary Manard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Peter Nobis!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nobis has a takedown stuffed.
Nobis tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Manard swivels and escapes.
Nobis tries for a takedown but Manard circles away easily
and Manard counters with a good low kick that Nobis was not able to check.
Gary Manard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Nobis.
Nobis punishes Manard's body with a nice straight punch.
Nobis lands with a hook. Manard tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Nobis shoots in looking for a takedown but Manard manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nobis's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Nobis fails to land the takedown.
Manard throws a combination that misses
and Nobis counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Manard misses with a kick to the body.
Nobis tries for a takedown but Manard circles away easily
letting Manard counter with a right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nobis shoots in for a takedown but Manard shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Nobis thuds a left hand into Manard's body.
Manard is breathing heavily.
Nobis throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Manard tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Nobis is in Manard's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Manard keeping moving, preventing Nobis from controlling successfully.
Nobis tries to free his leg and advance position but Manard is retaining full guard.
Nobis is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Manard is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Manard has escaped and now he's on top!
Nobis has his foot on Manard's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Manard works his way back into a safe position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Manard is looking to work some ground and pound but Nobis has wrist control.

Manard has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Nobis is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Manard defends well.
Nobis pushes a forearm under Manard's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Manard is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
