Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between William Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chester Wing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harrison comes to the cage accompanied by God's Gonna Cut You Down. Wing has chosen Not Afraid as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Chester Wing enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 13 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, William Harrison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chester Wing!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harrison misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wing.
Harrison feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Wings jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Harrison throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wing stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Harrison lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Wing has closed the distance and engaged Harrison in a clinch.
Wing misses with a short punch on the inside.
Harrison blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Harrison has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Wing is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Wing scores with a nice hook to the head.
Harrison has Wing pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Wing manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Wing can't find room to land a body shot as Harrison controls the action.
Harrison misses with a punch on the inside.
Harrison tries to stall but Wing uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Wing misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Wing stalling in the clinch but Harrison improves position.
Harrison has a couple of punches blocked by Wing.
Wing struggles to land a body shot inside as Harrison controls his hands.

Harrison has hold of one of Wing's legs. Wing is fighting the takedown attempt but Harrison gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Wing can't keep his opponent in guard - Harrison advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The fighters are battling for position here. Wing manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Harrison is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Harrison is pushing down on Wing's leg trying to pass to half guard. Wing is fighting to maintain full guard but Harrison has managed to sneak the leg through.
Wing has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Harrison is working away from the top position though.

Harrison is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Wing doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Harrison.

Harrison is working for an americana but Wing has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Harrison was thinking about the submission.
Harrison stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wing swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Wing is trying to control the position but Harrison postures up.
Harrison wants to control from the top but Wing keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Chester Wing.
Harrison lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Chester Wing is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wing doesn't manage to clinch there - Harrison circles away.
William Harrison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wing throws a solid leg kick but Harrison takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Wing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that William Harrison will probably get the nod.

Harrison is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Wing is in real trouble.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Harrison is looking for a rear naked choke here but Wing reverses the position brilliantly into Harrison's guard!

William Harrison overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Wing is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Wing turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Harrison sizes up Wing with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Harrison has a takedown stuffed.
Harrison stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Harrison throws a shot from downtown. Wing moves away and avoids it.

A low kick from Wing is predictable there
and Harrison counters with a straight right hand.
Harrison fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wing manages to avoid it.
Harrison blocks a head kick by Wing.

Harrison looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Wing!

Wing holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Harrison tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Harrison lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Wing hang on?
Wing is in all sorts of trouble here.

Harrison is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Wing has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Wing!

This has been an exciting period of action!

Harrison escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wing gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Harrison wants to control but Wing passes easily into half guard.
Wing trying to control the action but Harrison is working from the bottom.
Wing prevents Harrison from improving his position.
Wing is taking a breather. Harrison says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Harrison is controlling Wing's trapped leg to prevent Wing from advancing to side control.
Chester Wing has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Chester Wing has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Wing lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Wing fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wing thuds his right hand into Harrison's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Wing throws a leg kick
and Harrison counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Wing stuns Harrison with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Wing throws a low kick but Harrison moves out of range easily.
A head kick misses from Wing.
Harrison tries for a takedown but Wing sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Harrison wants to clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Harrison lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to William Harrison.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Harrison, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
