Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James William (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicky Salita (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). William comes into the arena with Outlaw's Reward blaring out of the sound system. Salita is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Lose Yourself by Eminem. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Nicky Salita enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
William on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
William blocks a low kick nicely.
William changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Salita ducks down and throws a hook to the body but William moves away.
Salita stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Salita wants it to stay on the feet.
Nicky Salita seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice sprawl there from William as Salita shoots in.
Salita scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Salita misses with a wild body shot.
William ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Salita moves away.
Salita fails with a takedown attempt.
Salita throws a big shot that misses.
William shoots in for a double leg but Salita sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

William shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

William has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Salita's face.
A nice elbow there by William.
William has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
BOOM! William connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Salita is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
William loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Salita scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from William land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. William stands and salutes the crowd.
