Adamek comes to the cage accompanied by KSW. Marcellous Nikoteen has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tomasz Adamek's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Nikoteen.
Nikoteen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Nikoteen works over Adamek's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Tomasz Adamek has been cut.
Adamek avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Adamek shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Nikoteen is trying to maintain the position but Adamek is very close to passing his half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Tomasz Adamek.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Nikoteen wants to get back to his feet but Adamek drags him back down.
Adamek creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Nikoteen sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Nikoteen tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Adamek easily slips into full mount!
Nikoteen is in all sorts of trouble here.

Adamek has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Nikoteen has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Nikoteen manages to reverse the position and now he's in Adamek's guard. Nice work there by Nikoteen.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nikoteen drops back, looking for a kneebar! Adamek looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Adamek looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Adamek!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
