And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ross Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson clinches with his opponent.
Jackson wants to take the fight to the mat but Kogus manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Jackson pulls Kogus into guard.
Jackson keeping moving, preventing Kogus from controlling successfully.
Kogus pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jackson is keeping the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jackson has a closed guard, preventing Kogus from standing up.

Kogus would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Jackson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kogus avoids it really well and circles away.

Jackson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kogus is fending him off so far but Jackson persists. Nope, Kogus circles away and we're back to standing.
Dam Kogus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ross Jackson.
Jackson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Jackson is trying to drag Kogus to the mat but Kogus just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

and Jackson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jackson.
Kogus jumps guard but Jackson stands there with Kogus around his waist. Kogus gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Jackson has Kogus pressed against the cage, preventing Kogus from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Kogus fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Kogus is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Jackson is looking for a takedown.

Kogus gets underhooks to prevent Jackson's takedown attempt.

Jackson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Kogus wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Jackson turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jackson manages to end up in side control.

Jackson decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Kogus looks for a takedown but Jackson sprawls well.

That's time! Kogus's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Jackson lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Jackson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kogus pinned against the cage. Kogus gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kogus shoots in but no luck this time.

Jackson rushes Kogus and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Jackson will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Kogus up against the cage.

Jackson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jackson is breathing heavily.

Jackson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kogus swivels and escapes.

Kogus lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.


It looks like Ross Jackson has been cut.
Kogus scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kogus shoots in and drives through. Jackson sprawls well.
Jackson keeps the fight on the outside.

Kogus drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jackson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kogus has Jackson in his guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kogus wants to stand up but Jackson is controlling him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Jackson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dam Kogus is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Jackson moves into the clinch successfully.

Jackson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kogus after a bit of a struggle.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Kogus.
Kogus tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jackson swivels and escapes.

Jackson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kogus as he avoids it easily.
Kogus closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jackson circles away.

Jackson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kogus looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jackson shoots in but no luck this time.
Kogus throws a nice looking combination but Jackson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jackson shoots in for a double leg but Kogus sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jackson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Kogus fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Jackson has managed to clinch.
Kogus wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Jackson manages to break the clinch.
Kogus scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Kogus throws a chopping leg kick but Jackson manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

I would just about give that final round to Ross Jackson.
