Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frenchy Fuqua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Douglas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fuqua comes to the cage accompanied by Diesal Power. Tony Douglas has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Frenchy Fuqua's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuqua fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Fuqua takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Douglas swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fuqua fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Douglas checks it well.
Douglas tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Fuqua is able to avoid easily.

Fuqua gets the takedown into side control.
Douglas is not content to let Fuqua control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fuqua in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Douglas is looking to reverse the position.

Fuqua looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fuqua working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Douglas manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Fuqua is looking to advance position but Douglas won't allow it.
Fuqua is looking to take a break and control but Douglas is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Fuqua wants to control from the top but Douglas keeps moving.

Douglas is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Fuqua's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Fuqua throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Fuqua wants to control from the top but Douglas keeps moving.
Fuqua has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Douglas is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fuqua is aware though and is defending well.

Fuqua postures up in Douglas's guard and throws a big left but Douglas blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fuqua is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Douglas is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Douglas has escaped and now he's on top!
Douglas working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fuqua is on top in guard.

Douglas has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Fuqua is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Douglas.
Douglas tries to get back to half guard but can't.
