The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Ziyad.

Wulong fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ziyad sprawls well initially but Wulong persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Ziyad gets back to full guard.
Ziyad controlling the position.
Ziyad tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Ziyad is looking for a triangle but Wulong pushes his legs off easily.
Wulong postures up.
Wulong sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Ziyad has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Lei Wulong was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Ziyad tried to score with a low kick but Wulong checks it.
Ziyad connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Ziyad is sitting in close to Wulong's body. Wulong has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Ziyad is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Ziyad is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Wulong.
