Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Foreman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Graeme Souness (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Foreman might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Impaled Nazarene - . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, George Foreman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Graeme Souness!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souness thuds his right hand into Foreman's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Souness misses with a series of wild punches.
Foreman misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A punch lands to the side of Foreman 's head but he takes it in his stride.
No joy there for Souness, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Foreman pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Souness gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Foreman looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
It looks like Foreman is going to stand back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Souness has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Foreman is working away from the top position though.
Foreman tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Foreman slows the pace down in half guard.

It looks like Foreman is going to stand back up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Souness tries to clinch but Foreman is having none of it.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Foreman!
Souness lands with a hook. Foreman tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Foreman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Foreman bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Souness's head.
Souness lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Foreman moves into the clinch successfully.
Foreman has had enough of the clinch but Souness keeps him there for the moment.
Foreman gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Souness.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Foreman.

Foreman pulls Souness in close to his closed guard and prevents Souness from doing any damage or advancing position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Souness drops back looking for a leg! Foreman is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Foreman manages to kick Souness off! Souness jumps back into Foreman's guard.

Souness is looking to work some ground and pound but Foreman has wrist control.
Souness won't allow Foreman to sweep him here.

Foreman has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Souness off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Souness tries to score a power double leg takedown but Foreman sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Souness somewhat.
George Foreman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Graeme Souness.
Foreman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Horrible takedown by Souness or perhaps it was just good defense by Foreman which made him look bad.

Foreman fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Souness is out of range.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Foreman jumps guard but Souness turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Souness breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Foreman throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Souness was covering up waiting for the punch and Foreman finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Souness connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Foreman's hands.
Foreman moves in looking to clinch but Souness pushes him off.
Souness is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Foreman.
Foreman tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Souness manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Souness throws out a loose jab but Foreman uses good head movement to avoid it.

Souness pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Foreman is working the combinations to good effect here.

and Foreman counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

A close round but Graeme Souness will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Souness might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Foreman lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Souness fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Foreman manages to avoid it.
Foreman steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Souness is out on his feet! Foreman sets himself and nearly takes Souness's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). George Foreman!
After winning the bout, George Foreman thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
